An autumn day in the mountains

Sometimes you just gotta get the hell out of town: Minnie Driver, Gross Point Blank.

Autumn is bursting out all over.

Long story short. I got outa town.

Next thing I know I’m in Primrose, N.C. with some of my buds.

And a nine hour drive delivered us to a perfect autumn day.

The covered bridge at DuPont State Forest.

Which led us on a hiking expedition in the DuPont State Forest.

Life, the universe and everything.
High Falls
A low afternoon sun sets the leaves all aglow.
A cabin in the woods.

Because sometimes you just gotta get the hell out of town.
