Listen, I’ve already posted a “This Is Ron’s Florida” blog about Tampa’s splendid Riverwalk. But I had these striking images left over and couldn’t resist showing them off.
An artist named Heidi Lippman created a series of kiln-fired laminated glass images along an otherwise sterile pedestrian walkway just below an extremely busy traffic freeway.
What blew me away is how Lippman’s images reflect the city around it, and especially the heavy concrete pillars that keep the traffic above from crashing down on the people below.
All I’m sayin’ is…
…if Max Headroom was Mayor of Tampa…
…this is what the whole city would look like.
