As I continue my photo journey of iconic GNV locals, here are some stylized images of UF I’ve captured over the years.

Left and center, yes, this is Gator Country. Right: Reflections on the chapel door at Lake Alice.

UF: Where the traditional meets the modern.

Foreground: Clouds captured in a football stadium window. Background: The sculpture Connections outside Newell Hall.

The notorious French Fries From Hell.

The French Fries From Hell On Steroids.

Left Southern Gothic. Right: Synthetic Southern Gothic.

My favorite building on campus. Inside is always found a feast of visual delights.

If you are looking for inspiration, seek out UF Health’s Garden of Hope.

Left: Fountain. Right: Not fountain.

The bat houses are a crowd pleaser just before sundown.

You gotta get in line if you want to have your graduation photo taken here.

Yeah, yeah, they’re everywhere.

Every time I pass Emerson Hall I wonder why they didn’t call it Emerson, Lake And Palmer Hall. I assume it was named after the band broke up.

Each of these images were captured on campus. The guy on the right is actually a cardboard cutout of somebody or other.
Bonus Content: Two blasts from the past.

Remember that cold snap back in 2010? It froze the grass and turned fountains into ice sculptures.

UF frequently plays host to traveling art exhibits. This tribute to Gone With The Wind passed through in 2011. Although I thought Scarlett looked more like Shirley McClain than Vivien Leigh.

That’s all folks!
