All I am sayin’, is give The Harn a chance.

Yes, it is true that on those occasions when I start to feel like my blog is getting trite and predictable, I take myself to The Harn. For renewal, and for inspiration.
But if you go to the Harn today, you might be turned off by the construction signs out front.
Don’t be.

That’s actually a good thing. The Harn is undergoing renovation for the purpose of adding a new gallery to better showcase its extensive Florida collection. I can’t wait.

But don’t worry. Construction or not, there’s still lots of eyeball-capturing “stuff” going on at The Harn. And if you haven’t been lately, you really ought to drop in and check it out.
Because there’s always something new and different.

Check out Metamorphosis. It’s a bit of a mind blow.

And eyeball the Guerrilla Girls wall. They just want to make a point: That misogynism is alive and well in the American art scene. And ain’t that a shame in this day and age?

There’s lots more: Pillars and flowers and ceramics and thighs oh my.

And don’t even get me started on the crumpled cans. I have no words or explanations.

All I am sayin’ is give it a look. But don’t be surprised if your eyeballs occasionally deceive you.
Is it a waterfall, or is it Memorex?
Listen, this is The Harn! Where on any given day you’re bound to see something that isn’t what it seems.
