Someone told me it’s all happening at the Streetery

Downtown GNV’s Streetery is a wonderful community space that gives people afoot primacy over cars.

This weekend The Streetery kicked off a brand new tradition: A European style Winter Market that will operate every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Jan., 25.

Eat, drink, be merry. Oh, and don’t forget to buy something.

Becaue, after all, you know what is right around the corner.

I stopped by on Sunday afternoon (on my way to First Mag) and the place was all abuzz.

There was music, food, beer (alas, no traditional mulled wine ala European Winter Markets) art and lots of goods.

Heck, there was even a guy doing chair massages for bone weary shoppers.

Is this a great town or what?
