
One of the sheer pleasures of riding my bicycle aimlessly about GNV is that, inevitably, I come across something completely unexpected and…well…truly odd.

For instance, on my way to First Mag Sunday afternoon, I happened to come across the GNV Oddities Market at Bo Diddley Plaza.
How to explain the Oddities Market…

To begin with, they are very big on skulls. Don’t ask me why.

Not to mention stuffed animals. And super heroes.

There is a table of big knives. Not far away from the spooky soy candles exhibit.

Oh, and a small crocodile who was born in Miami but now resides in a reptile preserve in Melrose. Where he rooms with a big, cuddly yellow snake.

And, listen, if you are squeamish about cuddling live crocs and yellow snakes, you can always buy a yarn versions of either or.
