Time to embrace the Great DeSanitizing Solution To Solve Florida Homelessness

All hail to The Great DeSanitizer (TGD)! For he has pointed the way for Florida cities and counties to solve their homeless problems.

Well, maybe not all Florida cities and counties.

And I’m not talking about the send-the-homeless-into-the-woods-and-let-them-die bill awaiting TGD’s signature. That thing’s so chock full of stupid ideas, unaffordable mandates and constitutional pitfalls that it won’t solve anything.

No, I’m talking about the anti-Ron’s other idea. It’s brilliant! And while it didn’t help him become president, that’s only because TGD possesses a personality so toxic that few carbon based life forms cared to vote for him.

A Modest Proposal

Of course, you can’t really call this brilliant solution the anti-Ron’s idea. Admittedly he had to steal it from a Texas pol who’s even more craven than he is.

But that doesn’t diminish the sheer genius of the thing.

From Red To Blue With Love

To make the point that the federal government (i.e. the Deep Blue State) had failed in its responsibility to stop illegal immigration, the anti-Ron hired private jets and started flying illegals (from Texas, because apparently we don’t have enough of them here) to Blue States.

Dumping them off in affluent communities like Martha’s Vinyard. As if to say: Here, you take out the trash for a change!

All I’m sayin’ is that if the fly-and-forget-solution is good enough for illegals, it damned sure is good enough for real Americans. Even if they are homeless.

With slight modifications, of course.

Listen, if the feds have dropped the ball on immigration, the State has damned sure bungled homelessness. Outside of providing the occasional matching grant, Florida has pretty much left cities and counties to do all the heavy lifting on the state’s growing homeless population.

From Blue To Red With Love

Hence the Great DeSanitizing Solution to Florida Homelessness.

It’s simple: Blue Florida cities and counties need to start sending their homeless to Red Florida cities and counties.

Probably by bus, since private jets are a budget buster.

Fort Lauderdale can bus its displaced persons to Sarasota. Miami to Naples. West Palm Beach to Palm Beach (drop ‘em off right at the gates of Mar-a-Lago).

And GNV? Take your pick: Neptune Beach, Palm Coast. Ormond By The Sea.

Maybe they’ll convert polo fields into homeless encampments. Because, Lord knows, The Villages are in a much better position than GNV to pay for all the stringent new state mandates necessary to set up temporary camps.

Time To Toughen Up Blues

Listen, I realize that there is a potential flaw in The Great DeSanitizing Solution to Homelessness in Florida.

If GNV is any example, blue city and county commissioners tend to be sentimental, humanitarian, and far too squeamish to use homeless human beings as political pawns.

But seriously, blues, you need to toughen up. This is why we keep losing elections in The Free State Of Florida.

For TGD and his Tribe, the cruelty really is the point. They revel in it. They draw energy from the suffering of the weak. Like vampires.

And apparently this alone is sufficient reason for wealthy red nabobs in Hobe Sound, Jupiter, Cape Coral and the like to send cash, cash and more cash to keep the anti-Ron and his minions in power.

But what if the reds all of a sudden had to spend more of their considerable disposable income on security guards and razor wire just to keep the homeless away from their yacht clubs and tennis clubs? Then maybe….just maybe….they’d be a tad less generous to the political sadists ensconced in the state Capitol.

Maybe it’s time to fight fire with fire, blue Floridians.

Heck, we can always atone for our sins with Truth and Reconciliation resolutions.

After the war for Florida’s soul has been fought and won.

As reported in Axios.
